The 2026 AGM of the Isle of Wight Centre of the Caravan and Motorhome Club will be held on Sunday 30 August 2026 at 11:00.
The meeting will take place at Railway View, Main Road, Havenstreet, PO33 4DY, during the Bank Holiday Weekend Rally at the same venue. Centre members may attend the AGM without taking part in the rally, and ample car parking will be available on site.
Only members registered with the centre at the date of the meeting are allowed to speak or vote at the AGM. You will need to show proof of your membership on arrival (your membership number).

For nominations for a committee position please use this form.
Committee constitution: To satisfy the club rules, the centre committee must include the following 3 positions: Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. plus at least 2 other committee members. A maximum committee of 15 is allowed under club rules.
In order to meet the needs of our centre, the current committee have identified additional roles, including Minutes Secretary, Rally Secretary, Assistant to the Rally Secretary, Equipment Officer and Webmaster. These roles will be assigned or re-defined, if appropriate, from elected committee members after the AGM so we encourage centre members to get themselves nominated for the committee.
Nominations: Only registered centre members shall be eligible for election to the Committee. Any two registered members may propose any registered member to be an Officer of the Committee of the Centre to which they are all registered. Nominations using the above form or in writing using the form printed in the 2026 Rally Book, confirmed by the nominee, the proposer and the seconder, must be received by the centre secretary by 26th July 2026. On receipt of a nomination, the centre secretary will verify the persons involved.

Motions: Formal notices of motion from registered members, duly signed by the proposer and seconder, must be received in writing by the centre secretary by 26th July 2026. On receipt of a proposed motion,
the centre secretary will verify the identities of the persons involved, verify that the motion doesn’t contravene Club Bye-Laws and Centre Rules and confirm it is of material interest to the Centre. The secretary will then arrange for the motion to be sent to all centre members in advance of the AGM. Motions can be used to propose
variations of the club rules, etc, and will be voted on at the AGM.
Voting: Voting by those attending the AGM will be by a show of hands.
